Why Philosophical Coaching?

Because it is your way to lift confusion and make better choices!

Cleaning the Aquarium from the Outside is very interesting and the Philosophical approach is one I haven’t seen before, the creation of thought without all the emotions, is this true?

Mariette

The answer is: YES! Philosophical Coaching works MAGIC!

Protreptic which is the greek name of this philosophical approach was first described by Aristotle. It was used at the academies back then in the education of statesmen to help them make better decisions for themselves and the common good.

It is quite amazing how this philosophical approach works in practice, which is proven by several case-studies and in a broad range of publications by acknowledged philosophers.

When the focus in the coaching conversation is outside of your self and on the philosophical inquiry of a value or a subject of relevance to where you are at in your life the emotional “shield” doesn’t get as easily activated.

When the emotional shield is down it is possible to gain clarity of your thoughts and get a better understanding of your values. It helps you get a clearer picture of what it is you want and don’t want in life and what patterns are preventing you from moving in the right direction. In other words the philosophical coaching helps to lift your confusion and make better choices about how to spend the precious time you have left in your life.
